We are two months in to the fall line up and we are finally ready to finalize our television schedule. Here is our definitive list for November of shows to play, shows to pass on and the trash reality shows for tuesday night. Check back next week to see what “possible plays” make it onto our playlist and see the trash reality shows we are watching for the night.
Of Note: Please note that Human Target and Hell’s Kitchen are on hiatus this week and a rerun of Hell’s Kitchen will air instead.
TV Shows to Watch:

For those of you who have a tight schedule, here are our favorite new, returning and trash reality tv shows on Wednesday night.
New TV Shows to Watch:  None

Listen, we really do not mean to hate, but if we are going to make a new show recommendation and say it is a must watch, it actually has to be a show that we cannot live without. Undercovers and Law and Order: Los Angeles are the only two series we would consider for this slot but they’ve only shown potential, they have yet to really hit the mark episode wise.

Returning TV Shows to Watch: Modern Family

The Emmy winning series is one of the most authentic portrayals of American family today. The show also makes us laugh so hard it hurts and gives us tons of memorable quotes.
Trash- Reality TV Shows to Watch: The Challenge: Cutthroat

Is there anything better than watching washed up reality stars compete for their rent/food money? We have been back and forth on this s
eries all season but we’ve finally committed and put it on our must watch list.

Permanent Playlist: Our TV series to watch runner-ups, watch live or catch up online.

In addition to our TV Shows to Watch there are other shows that make it on our permanent playlist for Wednesday night.

Survivor: Nicaragua: This year Survivor went from our possible playlist to our permanent playlist. The “Jimmy Johnson” Survivor: Nicaragua season continues to capture our attention week after week. Jeff Probst has hosting down to a science at this point and proves every episode that he is one of the best reality tv host in the game.
Law and Order: SVU: Is there anything that Benson and Stabler can’t do? They take out the bad guys, console victims and manage to bring awareness to important social issues facing our society today. This show is one of the best shows of all time and we are proud that it is apart of our American television history.

Possible Plays: The Floaters
Sometimes these series make it on to our playlist, other times we can do without them.
America’s Next Top Model: We are starting to wonder if this series is past its prime. This season Tyra promised to elevate the competition and make it more legitimate. She’s brought in Vogue: Italia and continues to rely on judge Andre Leon Tally. While the show has gained some legitimacy it still continues to have it’s non-”fierce” moments where we are bored to tears. We play ANTM only when we have the chance.
The Middle: We love watching the Heck family try to make it through week after week. Patricia Heaton, n class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Everybody Loves Raymond, proves that she is not just a one-note actress and Atticus Shaffer, is brilliant as the Heck’s youngest child brick.
Hell’s Kitchen: Watching Gordon Ramsey invoke fear and humiliation is entertaining but only in small doses.
Undercovers: The series continues to show potential but has yet to connect with us. The Blooms are interesting but they don’t entertain us enough to commit to watching week after week.
Cougar Town: We enjoy Cougar Town but sometimes we cannot take Courtney Cox’s over the top, cheesy acting.
Human Target: Christopher Chance continues to kick butt week after week on this show and we enjoy it. While it is not an every week show it is definitely worth watching occasionally.
Criminal Minds: Oh Shemar Moore, you continue to entice us with your good looks and your won’t “rest until I catch the criminal” devotion to your job… but we digress. We love Criminal Minds complex plot lines and unique approach. But sometimes we are too emotionally spent by Law and Order: SVU to tune in.
Hellcats: Let’s reiterate for what seems like the 100th time that Hellcats is not Bring it On, one of the best cheerleading movies of all time. In fact, it’s not even close. However, when we are looking for something light, fun and cheesy to watch and we are not tuning into Cougar Town we tune into Hellcats
Law and Order: Los Angeles: Full of potential, not living up to it. We tune in occasionally to support Dick Wolf as he continues to  build a television empire.
Permanent Pass:
The Whole Truth: Had you asked us before the fall season started to predict what shows would be our new favorites we would’ve picked The Whole Truth. Unfortunately, the series never lived up to our expectations and continues to disappoint.
The Defenders: How many cheesy lawyer dramas can we watch in this country? The Defenders continues to try to be the next Boston Legal but it fails miserably.
Trash:

Top Chef: Just Desserts: Who doesn’t want to just skip to desert? Our favorite cooking reality show narrows it’s focus with Top Chef: Just Desserts. Gail Simmons, from Top Chef, host the culinary competition where pastry chefs compete for the Top Chef title.
Occasional Trash:

Steven Seagal Lawman and Dog the Bounty Hunter: Tune in to A&E to watch Dog and Seagal dish out their own brand of justice.
